3:30 – 3:45 – Introductions, wait for late people etc.

3:45 – 4:15 – WOD updates: Ron will show all current data

Discussed how this program is working and Ron shared the data so far of those who have been trained and in what areas.  The feedback from participants and facilitators have been incredibly positive.  We also discussed how else this could be advertised to the WSD teachers.  Keep bringing it up at staff meetings, monday mornings, and when several people ask you the same quest ions....suggest they sign up for a WOD class.

Buildings who have not done any yet really need to talk it up and get their people to sign up.  Some suggestions were to have people who want a class to solicit through email or sign up sheets to find people with similar needs to form the team.

Ron will be adding space on the form to have more people on the team.  (If you have more than 5 then you can have two facilitators)

Current Data as of 11/10/04:

4:25 – 4:35 – United Streaming, Media Co-Op, etc...

  • Talked about the money we are spending on the media co-op through the ESD and we are recommending that they include United Streaming in the co-op, otherwise we could use the money to better fit our needs in the WSD by doing United Streaming on our own, buying some resources, and providing our own support mechanism.

4:35 – 5:00 – K-12 student technology standards articulation

Educator Access and skyward were discussed to make sure our district is truly going to evaluate its effectiveness for an SIS system for teachers, students, and parents.  So far the feed back has been nothing but negative on all fronts.
