- Hilighted new features:
- Add your school's or state's standards to a grade book
either directly or through the use of distributable plug-in
files based on grade-subject level standards.
- Create unlimited rubric scales (i.e. Exceeds Standard
- 4.00, Meets Standard - 3.00) to be used for recording
and reporting performance.
- Add assignments and link up to ten standards to each
for independent assessment.
- Utilize three separate charts for entering and viewing
standard data: 1-Student, 1-Assignment and Totals (pictured).
- Have overall standard grades calculated using averages
(not percents), using the Power-law formula or manually.
- Set alternating row colors in all charts to improve
readability
- Have the background of score cells automatically colored
to indicate student attendance marks on the dates that
match the assignments' dates
- Scroll through rows and columns in all charts using the
a mouse scroll-wheel
- Have scores auto-filled in the score chart when attendance
codes are entered in the attendance chart (i.e. 'ab'
entered on an assignment when a student is marked absent
in the attendance chart)
- Enter up to two different email addresses for each student.
- Generate internet password for students automatically
- Have report paper orientation and size saved between
print jobs
- Have classes re-combined automatically whenever changes
are made to prior-term classes
- Have backup grade books automatically saved to your Documents
folder (or some other location of your choice) to ensure
that, if the worst happens, your data are secure
- Set up a password for access by a Restricted-Access user
(such as an administrator) and control the level of access
