•We have already agreed to use and officially are using the NETS standards for Students.

•These should drive our training, surveys, assessments, etc.

•What other places are saying: state(teachers), state(students) feds.

•Discussion about which survey we should use, why, and when.

10:30 - 11:00

Adrienne Nestor will show you the assessment spreadsheets that teachers are using to track data for district level reading/writing assessments.

11:00 11:30

Jeanine will be here to talk to the group.

11:30 - 12:30

Lunch out together (if you can)  We'll figure out where is fast and friendly.  Maybe Pizza delivered??

12:45 - 3:30

Here are your priorities for the afternoon:  Ron and Patsy will be here to help.  And please use each other for help.

  1. Make sure Ron knows who is going to NCCE so we can see how much each gets.
  2. Time to work on building issues and ask questions of Ron or others if needed.
  3. Create/Improve your building level Tech Help web site connected to your building web page(examples: WHS, PIO, FMS).
    1. Have links to prodev, other wsd tech sites, wod, tech day schedules and expectations, tech committee notes and recommendations, support request forms to use instead of email, iteach, teachweb, resources, tutorials for district wide software:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, AppleWorks, Mail or Entourage, OS X, iMovie, iPhoto, iTunes, iDVD, Easy Grade Pro.  Any other is gravy, all buildings will differ.
    2. Use Contribute 2 that was given to you
    3. Use Dreamweaver if you know how and have it
  4. Develop how to handouts, screen videos, web sites that address any training issues that are coming up in your buildings.
    1. If you need help with screen shots etc get help from Ron, Gary, Brock, Rick....and I am sure others know how.
  5. Work with "like" TRT's and see what is happening/working etc.
  6. Do stuff you need to get to as a TRT

3:30 - 4:00

Wrap Up, evaluations, feedback, clean up, go home,
